MEET THE FOUNDER

hey, I'm JMac!

Pediatric hospitalist, workshop host, painter of abstract art, and firm believer that a good hospital cookie can turn a whole shift around. I've spent my career taking care of tiny humans, and the last few years taking care of something else: the women doing this work.

Here's the short version of why. Second year of residency, 2 a.m., midway through a 28-hour PICU shift, I sat down on a call room bed and realized I had no idea who I was outside of being a doctor. What got me through that year wasn't more information or a better plan. It was other women.

Years later I went looking for that same connection in a space built just for women physicians, and I couldn't find a space like this. So I built it.
